Artist Workshop: Proverbs for a Desert Landscape

Proverbs have guided people since time immemorial. Allusions to the natural world shape behaviors compatible with the lifeways of other creatures. Against the backdrop of a changing desert, this workshop will invite participants to create new proverbs to encourage environmental awareness and motivate ecological responsibility today. Join professors Carissa DiCindio and Karen Zimmermann from the University of Arizona School of Art and artist Jonathon Keats for a creative workshop in the Boathouse on Tumamoc Hill.
