Advancing Sustainable Water Management
AIR operates UArizona's leading facility developing new technologies to address water scarcity. Our work in the water sector brings together industry, government, and academia to address some of the grand environmental challenges facing society today. Leveraging the expertise of diverse disciplines across the university, AIR unites hydrologists, microbiologists, environmental scientists, policy experts, engineers, and many more to find solutions to current and evolving local, national, and global water challenges.

Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice
The Agnese Nelms Haury Program In Environment and Social Justice was established in 2014, and seeks to honor the life and work of Mrs. Agnese Nelms Haury. Mrs. Haury believed in social justice, and sought to solve "wicked" societal and environmental problems facing our region and our world. The Haury Program is funded by a bequest from Mrs. Haury's trust, and is overseen by a Donor Advised Fund Board.
Center for Climate Adaptation Science and Solutions
CCASS brings together a wealth of expertise at the University of Arizona to support sound management choices in the context of climate change, linking science, information needs of managers, and decision-making.
Water and Energy Sustainable Technology Center
The WEST Center facilitates innovative research and technology development to ensure safe and sustainable water supplies. Critical to WEST’s success is the partnership between the University of Arizona, the private sector, utilities, and the community at large.
