Grace Toftner

Grace Toftner is a junior who is majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Biosystems Engineering. Grace became interested in engineering because she enjoyed problem solving, and she feels that it gives her the opportunity to make technical changes that could make a large impact on the world. Grace's main interests lay in the areas of clean energy and food security. She is from Minnesota, but chose to go to Arizona with hopes of being somewhere where she can enjoy her outdoor hobbies for more of the year. Grace loves hiking, working out, golfing, and anything outside. She is also serving as the Professional Liaison for the University of Arizona's Society of Women Engineers this year.
