Hope Barton

Hope Barton is a sophomore at the University of Arizona, majoring in Natural Resources with an emphasis on Global Change Ecology and Management and minoring in Urban and Regional Development. After earning her bachelor's degree, Hope plans to pursue a master's degree in Environmental Policy. Her ultimate goal is to work for an environmental advocacy organization. Hope is very passionate about environmental justice and aspires to help provide support for communities that are disproportionately affected by pollution and environmental negligence. This interest in the environment stems from growing up in a rural area of Oklahoma. Growing up in a community who focused predominantly on farming, Hope developed a deep appreciation for the natural world.
