When
Floods affect more people than any other hazard and are increasing inequality in a changing climate. Please join us for the Flood Justice Symposium to examine data driven approaches to address inequity and agency in the flood preparedness, adaptation and recovery process.
We will focus on four themes:
i. flood governance in the preparedness-recovery continuum ii. flood justice across borders
iii. data empowered flood justice
iv. community engaged research with speakers including
lawyers, scientists, adaptation experts, and leaders of community-based organizations.
The symposium will be hybrid (virtual on zoom and in person) open to the public, and develop a research-action agenda to address flood injustice. Registration required for both in-person and Zoom attendance.
