Elena Greenberg
Elena Greenberg is a Research and Evaluation Specialist within the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS) within the Arizona Institute for Resilience. She also works on a NOAA-funded grant, Creating a community-based framework to assess adaptation effectiveness in the U.S. Southwest. Elena investigates climate change adaptation strategies in both Arizona and New Mexico, using qualitative research methods and a community-based approach. Before joining AIR, Elena worked with SIROW as a senior program coordinator and managed a U of A-based environmental science outreach program, called The Bio/Diversity Project.
Elena recently graduated with her Masters in Public Health. Through her time in graduate school, she supported the work of the CRED team in conducting public health research and evaluation. Elena is also a proud FoodCorps Alumnus, and prior to moving to Tucson, delighted in teaching K-12 students in Northern Arizona about healthy food in school.
