
Iskashita'a Refugee Network
Iskashita'a Refugee Network (IRN) is a non-profit organization in Tucson, AZ that creates opportunities to integrate UN refugees into the Southern Arizona community while educating the public and strengthening the local food system, reducing local food waste, and increasing food security. IRN partnered with the Liverman Undergraduate Environmental Fellows in the 2024-2025 academic year.
The Liverman Fellows created a seasonal cookbook highlighting recipes featuring native, locally grown produce. The goal of this cookbook is to provide IRN with a product that they can use for community engagement and education. You can see some of the sample pages created by Liverman Fellows below.
