When
9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 27, 2026
Monsoon Con is returning to Tucson on June 27, 2026.
After a sold-out 2023 at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the Southwest's only conference dedicated to storm photography and monsoon chasing is back, and this year's lineup is the strongest yet.
Six speakers. One full day. A room full of people who spend their summers watching the sky.
Keynote speaker Jim Tang, award-winning storm photographer and chaser whose work has appeared on FOX Weather and The Weather Channel, leads a lineup that includes Jeff Boyce (Bolt Hunter), Donna Ruthruff, Jeremy Perez, Spike Davis, and Dr. Patrick Bunn. Sessions cover everything from lightning capture and storm structure to forecasting strategy and field positioning, all taught by people who are out there doing it every season.
Monsoon Con is held at the Warden Oasis Theater at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and is designed to send you into monsoon season better prepared, better connected, and ready to chase.
Tickets are on sale now at monsooncon.org. The room is intentionally small, grab yours before they're gone.
