The NSF National Center for Atmospheric Research, in collaboration with universities in Arizona and elsewhere, is preparing a road map to improve North American Monsoon predictions by implementing a novel sensor network to better capture land-atmosphere interactions. This network will be coupled with data assimilation and modeling to improve predictability, for an Arizona that is more resilient to hazardous weather, water extremes, and global change. The science, impact, and instrument details are described in a White Paper available here

This webinar introduces this unique approach and seeks to engage stakeholders within the project in collaborator and/or support roles. Please join and/or send an organizational representative to explore opportunities for collaboration.
