Avery Paris

Avery Paris is a junior at the University of Arizona, majoring in Optical Sciences and Engineering with minors in Spanish and Mathematics. Growing up in Flagstaff, Arizona, surrounded by forests and mountains, she developed a passion for mountain biking and community-based sustainability. Avery works as the Bike Program Supervisor and as a member of the Outreach Team at Campus Recreation's Outdoor Recreation program. She is also the President of the University of Arizona Cycling Team, where she races mountain, gravel, and road bikes. After graduation, Avery hopes to pursue a career as an engineer in the medical device or cycling industry.
