Beatriz Ajpacaja

Beatriz Noemy Ajpacaja is a Sophomore, majoring in Environmental Engineering. She enjoys participating with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. During their Advancement of Latinx in Engineering, she worked as the Water Filtration Workshop lead. Last semester, she was a school garden teacher’s intern at Davis Elementary Bilingual School. This past summer she worked at Maricopa Agricultural Center. With the PI Pedro and electronics engineer John. Their research focused on Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizers on Cotton. Through her experiences she found love for community outreach, to encourage others to pursue stem and to learn about the environment. Beatriz wants to find a job researching things that can make a positive impact on Earth.
