Emmalyn Larson

Emmalyn (Emma) Larson is a senior studying Environmental Science with a biosphere emphasis and pursuing a minor in Natural Resources. She developed her passion for the environment through annual camping trips with her family, which developed her love for the outdoors and showed her how small actions among many could make a big impact. She cares about the environment, conservation, and sustainability, and she has a strong desire to promote environmental education at all levels. Emma believes that change starts with awareness; if people don't know about their environment or what actions they can take to make an impact, then we are limiting ourselves and our communities from achieving greater things. After college, her goal is to go into the Peace Corps to serve for both environmental resiliency and community building.
