Rahul Jadhav is a senior majoring in Information Science and minor in Sustainable Mineral Resources (focused on data analytics automation). After receiving the scholarship towards his minor, he got curious about mining, environmental science, sustainability, and how it could be combined and shaped with data & AI in today’s world to learn how we can minimize ecological footprints and turn toward optimized efficiency in operations, monitoring, and protecting biodiversity while meeting global demand for critical mineral resources. He aims to work in the environmental or mining firm where he would be able to leverage his data and AI skills to promote more sustained operations and deepened research. In his free time, Rahul likes to explore various cuisines, hidden places and go for a long drive.
